My Career Journey
My career in software engineering began in my third year of university, when I joined a team building a real-time disaster diagnostic system using acoustic-emission technology to detect structural failures.
It was my first experience applying software to real-world problems—and a turning point that sparked a lasting passion for innovation and impact.
Since 1996, I've worked across the U.S. and Europe, delivering solutions for both high-tech enterprises and ambitious startups. With over 25 years in software engineering and two decades focused on technical leadership,
I've helped organizations design scalable architectures, launch new products, and build high-performing, cross-functional teams.
I thrive at both ends of the spectrum—from driving lean MVPs in startup environments to scaling platforms and teams in enterprise settings with strict compliance, uptime, and security demands.
I've led initiatives across enterprise software, industrial IoT (smart cities), fintech, sports, and hospitality—managing multi-million-dollar projects and navigating complex tech ecosystems.
My roles have spanned engineering leadership, project execution, and business development, always with a focus on aligning technology with business outcomes.
With deep experience managing global teams, I understand how to align cultures, time zones, and communication styles to create unified, outcome-driven execution across continents.
I've built and led geographically distributed teams ranging from 4 to 300+ engineers, fostering collaboration, efficiency, and innovation regardless of location.
Having completed the Berkeley Venture Capital Executive Program at UC Berkeley, I deepened my understanding of startup growth, investment strategy, and venture dynamics.
That experience sharpened my ability to bridge innovation with execution—something I bring to every company I work with, whether it's an enterprise modernizing its tech stack or a startup scaling toward product-market fit.
Today, I focus heavily on AI-driven transformation—advising startups and enterprises on how to apply Generative AI, voice agents, and real-time analytics to improve products, streamline workflows, and enhance customer experience.
I stay hands-on with platforms like AWS Bedrock and SageMaker, while also serving as an advisor to AI startups and running education programs for early-stage tech sales professionals and startup founders.
